For art lovers, the Los Angeles County Museum is regarded as one of the best in the United States and the newly renovated Getty Museum holds the infamous "waterlilies" by Vincent Van Gogh. The Griffith observatory, which has been a landmark of Los Angeles since 1935, is a wonderful place to get some rest and relaxation amongst the stars since it has an impressive planetarium.
